🎶 Events & Tips

  • First Thursdays : on the first Thursday of every month, art galleries, bars, and parties are open until late. I loved it, it's definitely worth attending.

  • Sunset Sessions : in the summer, many rooftop bars and beach clubs have sunset parties with DJs.

  • Amapiano & afrobeats nights : increasingly popular, especially in local clubs – Saint Lounge or Joburg Lounge.

    🚖 Useful tips

    • Use Uber/Bolt for safe transportation at night. (Sometimes they won't let you out of the club until you order an Uber or Taxi.

    • Clubs often have entrance fees (approx. R50–R200).

    • Dress code may be stricter in more trendy places – it is worth dressing up! Don't forget your ID. They may also ask for it
